While looking for news about Sandy and the New Jersey shore where we visited friends in July I stumbled upon news about other areas where the storm has hit. We have to remind ourselves that the storm hit in other places too but that news is not as hyped as the storm in the US is. In Buenos Aires there was a bad storm too. The large media companies, which we follow in Finland too are American (and British) based and it is not so easy to find info about that storm. Our national Swedish paper had 3 pages about the USA Sandy and 2 + 4′ about the Argentinean storm. But in the Buenos Aires Herald we can find some info.

And Cuba
