Finding one’s tribe in Madrid

I have researched first-time parents in Helsinki in Finland and Gothenburg in Sweden to learn to better understand the parents’ urban and online meeting places in similar ways as folks in the project ‘Caring IN the city’, carried out by Pandora Mirabilia and funded by European Culture Foundation.

This is a very important project close to my heart. In this video-chronicle we can follow a collective research day ‘Juanita’s Walk’ in Arganzuela (a district of Madrid) and Intermediae Matadero.

I am so happy that a couple of people from this project will be coming to Finland on a study trip in the fall to check out our “urban tribe work”. It will be very interesting to compare, share and learn how families shape their tribes in different cultural contexts.
