I participated in a very interesting urban art project City as a living organism in the spring of 2014 in Ekenäs as one of 9 experts from different fields. The transdisciplinary workshop was arranged by Heini Aho and Sebastian Ziegler (AKU) in cooperation with Novia University of Applied Science and Pro Artibus art foundation.

Now Heino and Sebastian are publishing an online book chapter by chapter together Mari Krappala:

Locus out of Focus is a work to be published chapter by chapter. Each chapter is a new attempt to focus on the object under observation as a scientific problem, artistic idea and political opinion or as a fictional conception of the world. The chapters also ponder on the working methods where the focus becomes hazy, but at the same time and exactly therefore something essential concerning the locus will emerge.

Today they published the first chapter with video portraits of the experts who participated in the workshop and our Firs Aid Kit toolboxes. Fun to see all the different toolboxes and the wide range of knowledge represented at the seminar.
