When I sat watching Jon Stewart on Youtube this morning with Jonathan I realized how much I have missed his intelligent critical mind. I stumbled upon this first clip where he is a guest on “The Axe Files” at the University of Chicago hosted by David Axelrod.

We see and hear a serious Jon Stewart and find he is as troubled as we are concerning the American election. He also gives us and the students at the political science department (who might have a career in DC in mind) a glimpse of how it is inside the lobbying world in Washington D.C.

I will never recover from it!…..It is so much worse than you could possibly imagine….there are some good people trying to survive within the lava, but it is a fucking horror show……Get into it, but don’t get it on you …… bring your ideals!

This documentary is also great to watch both for people who have followed Jon Stewart and those who want to learn more.

Steven Colbert brought him back to his show in July and you can hear that the audience has been missing him too.
